GoodLife House Selections Vol.1 Review

Good Life House Selections vol.1 is packed full of collaborations with everyone’s favourite artists. This album is as diverse as the artists featured in it; with tracks that appeal to a wide spectrum of music lovers. The album is a joint-venture between GoodLife and BlackwHole Entertainment. A portion of GoodLife House Selections Vol.1 has a ‘street’ feel to it with artists such as Biblos, Bojo Mujo, and DJ Aero who define this style of music. BlackwHole adds a Deep Electro feel to the album and DJ Veany contributes a Deep House vibe; and just when you thought they were done, they bring in a gospel track.
Tracks such as “S” and “Xa Ndehla” are sure to have people singing along to the vibrant yet slightly suggestive lyrics. GoodLife House Selections Vol.1 is a must-have album for the approaching festive season with a remix of the classic BlackwHole track “1000 Seconds”. Once you hear this offering, you would definitely be impatient to hear Vol.2!

Enter the wHole [DJ Veany] ( 2009)

“DJ Veany (Pronounced Vinny). I was not sure what to expect, since I was still sweating from listening to aero’s album. I was pleasantly surprised. Actually, I love the album. I would say that he gave a more soulful, smoother and deeper look into “The Whole”. I kept repeating songs from the album and it has not left my CD player. The whole album is on point; however tracks like “Love Someone” and “Love You Say” are tunes that standout for me. The production is on point. Another reason why DJs in particular will love this one, is that it’s a Double Disc; with a mixed and unmixed version. I think anyone who enjoys good house music has to get… buy this one. Veany put a lot of work into this one and it deserves a 5 out 5. It’s proper"
